			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font color="#000000">The IASC is holding 2 summer workshops at Millikin University in Decatur, IL.  </font><font color="#000000">The summer leadership workshop program involves intensive training in leadership skills, including identification and use of different leadership styles, organizing and facilitating meetings, worjing in groups, communication skills, parliamentary procedure, discussion group leader training, project planning, delegating and many others.  The workshop is organized so students work in large and small groups during the week.  Each group operates as its own club with a variety of activities.  The workshop begins each Monday at 2:00pm and will finish the following Thursday at aout 2:00pm.  Students will be chaperoned by experienced adult staff members.  Delegates are responsible for their own transportation to and from the workshop.</font><font color="#000000">Week 1&#8212;July 21-24<br />

Week 2&#8212;July 28-31</p>
<p>See Mr. Clydesdale if you have any interest.  This would be especially advantageous for students who are wishing to becme active at the district or state level or for anyone wishing to run for office in the 2009-2010 student council.</p>
